Price source

Gold, silver, platinum and palladium prices come from MetalflowAPI, a precious metals data provider aggregating quotes from the main international markets. We receive the quote in euros per troy ounce and daily history since 1999.

Update frequency

The live quote is fetched on the server and cached for at most one minute; your browser requests it again every 60 seconds. Daily history is refreshed once a day. Every page shows the date and time of the last update.

How we calculate prices

Price per gram = price per troy ounce ÷ 31.1035.

Purity price = pure metal price per gram × (fineness ÷ 1,000). Examples: 24k = 999.9; 22k = 916; 21k = 875; 18k = 750; 14k = 585; 10k = 417; 9k = 375.

Carats convert to fineness as carats ÷ 24 × 1,000. Estimated buyer offers apply a percentage (usually 70–85%) to the metal value.
